These Terms govern your purchase and use of products and services from FleetTrained.com ("FleetTrained", "we", "us"). By placing an order, creating an account, or subscribing you agree to these Terms.
There are two ways to use FleetTrained, and you can use either or both:
Upon full payment for a one-time video, you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use that delivered video for internal training within your company — orientation, safety meetings, internal LMS, company devices and driver apps. You may not resell, sublicense, publicly distribute, or rebrand the videos for any other company. The underlying templates, animations, scripts, and production system remain FleetTrained's intellectual property.
The Training Platform is offered as a recurring monthly subscription:
Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard; cancellation stops the next renewal and your access continues until the end of the paid period. Access to the FleetTrained library is a license that lasts only while your Full Library subscription is active — library videos are our property and are not videos you own. Videos you separately purchased one-time remain yours under Section 2 regardless of your subscription. Previously issued completion records remain part of the employer's training history subject to our record-retention and deletion policies (Section 11). See our Refund Policy for billing.
You confirm you have the right to use the logo, name, and any text you send us, and you grant us a limited license to use them solely to produce your videos and generate your drivers' certificates. We will not use your brand for our own marketing without your permission.
If you use the Training Platform, you may add driver names and email addresses and assign trainings to them. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to provide that information and for notifying your drivers. FleetTrained stores and processes driver records (assignments, quiz results, on-screen signatures, and certificates) on your behalf and under your instruction — see our Privacy Policy. Certificates reflect your company's brand and the training your driver completed; they are a record of completion, not a guarantee of competency or regulatory sufficiency.
The FleetTrained platform, library videos, quizzes, answer keys, and certificates are provided for your company's internal driver training only. You agree not to — and not to allow anyone else to:
Access to the library is a license, not a sale (Section 3). If we reasonably believe your account is being used in violation of this section — including automated scraping or bulk harvesting of our content — we may suspend or terminate your access immediately and without refund, and pursue any other remedies available to us. This does not affect one-time videos you have lawfully purchased under Section 2.
Our videos and quizzes are informational training aids based on publicly available regulations (FMCSA/DOT) and common industry practice. They are not legal advice and do not guarantee regulatory compliance, insurance approval, or the prevention of accidents or violations. Your company remains solely responsible for its safety program, for verifying that training meets the requirements applicable to your operation, and for how the videos and certificates are used. Regulations change; verify current rules at fmcsa.dot.gov.
If a delivered video contains a production error (wrong logo, misspelled company name, technical defect), tell us within 14 days and we will fix and redeliver at no charge. Requests to change your provided inputs after delivery may be quoted as new work.
Prices are listed on the site in USD. One-time orders are due before production begins. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance to your payment method on file and renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are processed by our provider (Stripe); we never see or store full card numbers. See our Refund Policy.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless FleetTrained and its owners, officers, and contractors from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) materials you provide to us — your logo, company name, colors, policy text, and driver and company information — and your right to use them; (b) your use of the platform, videos, quizzes, certificates, and training records, including any representation you make about them to regulators, insurers, drivers, or other third parties; (c) any inaccurate, false, or incomplete driver or company information you submit; (d) your violation of these Terms or any applicable law; and (e) your responsibilities as an employer, including how you administer training and how you use completion records. This obligation survives termination of your account.
While your account is active, we store completion records — assignments, quiz results, on-screen signatures, and certificates — on your behalf as described in our Privacy Policy. If your account is closed, or you delete a specific driver's records, we retain the associated completion records for one (1) year and then permanently delete them, unless we are required to keep them longer by law or you ask us in writing to remove them sooner. You are responsible for exporting or saving any records you need for your own regulatory or insurance retention obligations before deletion. Some regulated training carries its own legally mandated retention periods and record contents; you remain solely responsible for meeting those.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FleetTrained's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the products is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including violations, penalties, crashes, or losses your company incurs.
We may update these Terms; the version posted at the time of your order or renewal applies to it.
